The Mid, a luxury boutique condominium, hotel, and retail space was just announced by 3750 Woodward LLC. The development, which is estimated to be completed by December, 2020, will begin to take development over the next coming months. This plan seems to be at a perfect time, as occupancy rates in midtown Detroit stay at a steady 98%. Detroit has seen an incredible amount of resurgence over the last decade. Builders and developers have been trying to get their hands on anything that is near Woodward. The Mid, which sits on 3.8 Acres on Woodward, is a perfect place to place a development. Midtown is a hot spot, as it lies between Downtown Detroit, and Wayne State University.
According to the City Records, the 3.8 Acre parcel was purchased in September, 2018 for $15 Million. The Project will begin construction this spring/summer.
